A 4-day workweek is nothing new for many employers. Many people are working 4 10-hour shifts or 80 hours within 9 days in order to have flexibility and additional free time during the week. However, there is a new trend on the horizon…a true 4-day workweek…working 4 days, 8 hours per day. You read that correctly…employees are working 32 hours but being paid for 40 hours. In order to recruit and retain employees, some organizations are working smarter, not harder.
When you attend this presentation, you’ll learn how to address the HR-related issues with moving to a 4-day workweek, including testing and measuring productivity, making sure your employees aren’t feeling overworked and overwhelmed by doing the same amount of work in less time, and consideration for the other company aspects that need review, including vacation time, sick time, and more. This presentation will also include case study results of a case study from one Denver-area employer who implemented such a program.
